Our Story
Beginning
Over eight years ago, PineGen AI began not as a company, but as a daily trading routine.
A solo retail trader spent hours manually calculating technical indicators, analyzing charts in Excel, and managing trades with discipline and focus. The approach worked but it was slow, repetitive, and limited by manual execution.
Discovery
That search for efficiency led to the discovery of Pine Script, TradingView's scripting language for building custom indicators and strategies.
With a background in programming, deep learning, and Natural Language Processing experimentation, mastering Pine Script came quickly. The impact on TradingView strategy development and backtesting was immediate.
Challenge
As AI tools evolved, a new question emerged: Could artificial intelligence reliably generate Pine Script?
The answer, at the time, was no. General-purpose AI models repeatedly produced broken or unusable Pine Script due to TradingView's closed execution model, strict syntax rules and version-specific behavior.
Solution
The solution wasn't another generic AI tool. It required years of research, testing, iteration, and failure training models specifically around Pine Script AI generation, validation, and execution.
Every improvement brought it closer to a platform that didn't just generate code, but generated correct, usable, TradingView-ready Pine Script.
